Join us for the 2026 One World Project Benefit. This beautiful evening brings together OWP families, alumni, teachers, and friends to celebrate all the things that make One World Project special.
All proceeds support scholarships and help bridge the gap between DOE funding and the true cost of UPK.
OWP is a pioneering nonprofit community center based in Brooklyn, offering innovative Spanish-immersion educational programs for all ages. Our mission is to foster compassion, promote equity, and strengthen mutual understanding—both among people and with our natural environment.
Music, Dance & Celebration
Music is an essential part of the One World Project Benefit—bringing everyone together and setting the joyful spirit of the evening.
We’re honored to have music by DJ Stretch Armstrong, the legendary New York DJ and member of the OWP parent community. Known for his influential role in New York’s music scene and his iconic radio shows, DJ Stretch Armstrong will bring his signature sound to keep the celebration going throughout the night.
The evening will also feature a live performance by OWP parent Emilio Schapira and Basement Cumbia Band, a vibrant Brooklyn-based group known for their energetic blend of traditional cumbia rhythms and contemporary sounds. Their music brings people together—exactly the spirit of this night.
For the first time, the One World Project Benefit will take place at Other Half Brewery Domino Park in Williamsburg—a spectacular waterfront space with sweeping views of the Manhattan skyline. Thanks to Andrew Burman for generously hosting this very special evening.
