AFTER SCHOOL

One World Project's After-School program is a place where up to 15 children come together to play, discover, have fun, and make friends while they learn and practice Spanish.

We offer after-school programming 5 days a week, from 3:00pm to 5:00pm or 6pm for students ages 5-10. Students who attend elementary school at P.S.130 and P.S. 154 can be picked up at school by teachers from One World Project, and travel to OWP as a group.

OWP's talented and experienced teachers help meet the needs of Spanish-speakers interested in practicing and honing their Spanish-language skills, as well as providing an introduction to Spanish for children who do not speak or understand the language. Games and activities are adjusted to meet individual levels of language fluency, and designed to foster not only spoken Spanish, but also Spanish writing and literacy skills.
