CAMPS

We offer Camp programming on most DOE Holidays, over February Break, and Spring Recess, and 8 weeks of summer.

Camp programs are taught in Spanish and align with our mission of fostering global awareness and environmental sustainability.   Our camps are led by our teaching staff of trained educators.

September 19 - Malleable Sculptures - we'll engage with beautiful, high quality, soothing materials to create art - in Spanish. You can enroll here.

October 8 - Fall Leaves - we'll collect, study and make art with Fall leaves. Feeling their texture, comparing colors and exploring shapes and forms - in Spanish. You can enroll here.

November 6 - Art & Activism - we'll learn about ways to use art to be activists - in Spanish. You can enroll here.

November 12 - Music & Movement - we’ll dance, learn about rhythm and write a song together - in Spanish. You can enroll here.

January 21 - Hopes and Dreams - we'll focus on our hopes and dreams - in Spanish. You can enroll here.

February 5 - Build Camp - we'll use upcycled materials to build - in Spanish. You can enroll here.

February Break Camp - Global Artist Workshop - February 18 to February 22

Join the Global Artist Workshop to learn about an array of visual artists from near and far.   Each day campers will be introduced to an artist, their medium, and art technique.  We'll be creating with clay, making collages, painting, experimenting with photography, working with textiles, and building upcycle sculptures - all in Spanish.  You can enroll for the week or by the day.

Spring Recess Camp - Seeds and Chefs - April 19 to April 26

Our Spring Recess camp is called Seeds and Chefs.  We'll be digging in dirt, planting our favorite veggies, and testing new recipes - all in Spanish.  You can enroll for the week or by the day.

June 4 - Art in Motion - we'll be using motion to help create our masterpieces - all in Spanish. You can enroll here.

June 6 - Trees Around - we'll be learning about the trees in our neighborhood - all in Spanish. You can enroll here.

June 11 - El dia del agua - we'll study water’s many fascinating and important characteristics, we'll do science experiments with water, make art with water, and of course if it is warm we'll get to play outside with water too. You can enroll here.

Summer Camp

Our fun and dynamic Summer Camp "Hola Summer" is offered July 1 to August 23, 2019.  "Hola Summer" is organized as a world tour without having to leave Brooklyn.  Families are able to choose the weeks they would like to participate in camp.  Some families enroll for the whole summer while others join us for only one week.

This year we'll be visiting:

Mexico: July 1 to July 12

Honduras: July 15 to July 26

Dominican Republic: July 29 to August 9

Spain: August 12 to August 23

Our summer journey will incorporate art, games, cooking, sports, music, outdoor play, field trips for older children, and lots of Spanish.  Everything we do is inspired by our destinations.

Hola Summer is open to Spanish and non-Spanish speakers between the ages of 2 and 10 years old (camp is separated into three groups - 2 & 3 year olds, 4 & 5 year olds, and 6 to 10 year olds).

Tuition information can be found here.

Summer Camp Application can be found here.
