OWP accepts ACS childcare vouchers — for all our programs.

At One World Project, we proudly accept active ACS childcare vouchers across all our programs — preschool, afterschool, and summer camps. Alongside our financial aid program, this is part of our ongoing commitment to ensuring access and equity for all families.

What is an ACS childcare voucher? An ACS childcare voucher is a benefit offered by New York City's Administration for Children's Services that helps low-income families cover the cost of childcare. Eligibility is based on family size, income, and reason for care (work, school, job search, and others). More info here!

What is the current situation? On October 6, 2026, New York City announced that ACS will serve at least 10,000 children from the childcare voucher waitlist. ACS is inviting families from the waitlist on a rolling basis — by mail and email — in the order children were placed on the list. The first invitation letters are expected in the coming weeks.

If you receive an invitation letter, you will have 60 days to submit your recertification application. The fastest way to apply is at mycity.nyc.gov.

If you have not received a letter yet, ACS has not reached your child on the list — please wait to apply until you are invited.

And if your family already has a voucher, your benefits continue uninterrupted, as long as you recertify on time.

Have an active voucher? Reach out to us at hola@oneworldproject.org — we'd love to hear from you.
