OWP accepts ACS childcare vouchers — for all our programs.

At One World Project, we proudly accept active ACS childcare vouchers across all our programs — preschool, afterschool, and summer camps. Alongside our financial aid program, this is part of our ongoing commitment to ensuring access and equity for all families.

What is an ACS childcare voucher? An ACS childcare voucher is a benefit offered by New York City's Administration for Children's Services that helps low-income families cover the cost of childcare. Eligibility is based on family size, income, and reason for care (work, school, job search, and others). More info here!

What is the current situation? Due to a funding shortage, New York City is no longer issuing new vouchers to families who are not on Cash Assistance. If you have applied recently and don't receive Cash Assistance, you may be on a waitlist.

If your family already has an active voucher, your benefits continue uninterrupted — as long as you recertify on time.
