One World Project's after school program is a place where children come together to play, explore, discover, have fun, and make friends while they learn or practice Spanish.
Our after school program serves school-aged children between 5 and 10 years old (separated by age), offering an opportunity for our alumni to continue their connection to One World while reaching more families in our community interested in multilingualism. We also offer an afternoon preschool program for children between between the ages of 2 to 5 years old. More information on the afternoon preschool program can be found here
OWP's small class size and talented and experienced teachers allow our program to meet the needs of Spanish-speakers interested in practicing and honing their Spanish-language skills as well as providing an introduction to Spanish for children who do not speak or understand Spanish. Games and activities are designed to foster not only spoken Spanish but also Spanish literacy.
Free pick up is available Monday to Friday from PS 130; from PS 230 on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Friday; from PS 154 Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays; and from PS 10 Tuesdays and Thursdays
