Camps

CAMPS

We offer Camp programming on most Federal Holidays, over February Break, and Spring Recess, and 8 weeks of summer.

Camp programs are taught in Spanish and align with our mission of nurturing global citizens and stewards of the environment.  Our camps are lead by our teaching staff of trained educators.

February Break Camp

The February camp is offered February 20 to February 24, 2018 and is a Celebration of Winter.  The children play games, do art and read books all about winter.  We also make bird feeders.  If we get really lucky it will snow and we get to play outside in the snow too.  February camp will be taught in Spanish by One World Project teachers.  The camp is open to children between the ages of 2 and 10 years old.  We require 6 children per age group to run that specific age group camp.  The camp groups are as follows: 2 and 3 year olds; 4 and 5 year olds; 6 to 10 years old.  The week-long 9am to 3pm program is $450 and the 9am to 5pm program is $550.  You can also enroll for less the entire the week.  The cost of 1, 2 or 3 days is $120 per day.

February Camp Enrollment can be found here http://www.oneworldproject.org/camp-application/

Spring Recess Camp

The April camp is offered April 10 to April 18, 2018.  The April camp is our Spanish-immersion Upcycle Camp.  The children make treasures out of would be trash or recyclables.  We make instruments, 3D art projects, animal habits and all sorts of other cool things.  We invite families to bring material from home and also work with Material for the Arts to create an imagination table of raw material to support and inspire the children's creations.  The Upcycle Camp is taught in Spanish by One World's teachers.  The camp is open to children between the ages of 2 and 10 years old.  We require 6 children per age group to run that specific age group camp.  The camp groups are as follows: 2 and 3 year olds; 4 and 5 year olds; 6 to 10 years old.   The seven day 9am to 3pm program is $630 and the 9am to 5pm program is $770.  The 5 day April 10 to April 14 programs are: 9am to 3pm $450 and 9am to 5pm $550.  You can also enroll for less the entire the week.  The cost of 1, 2 or 3 days is $120 per day.

Summer Camp

Our fun and dynamic Summer Camp "Hola Summer" is offered July 3 to August 25.  "Hola Summer" is organized as a world tour without having to leave Brooklyn.  Families are able to choose the weeks they would like to participate in camp.  Some families enroll for the whole summer while others join us for only one week.  This year we'll be visiting:

Puerto Rico: July 3 to July 14

Colombia: July 17 to July 28

Guatemala: July 31 to August 11

Spain: August 14 to August 25

Our joyful summer journey will incorporate art, games, cooking, sports, music, outdoor play, field trips for older children, and lots of Spanish.  Everything we do is inspired by our destinations.

Hola Summer is open to Spanish and non-Spanish speakers between the ages of 2 and 10 years old (camp is separated into three groups - 2 & 3 year olds, 4 & 5 year olds, and 6 to 10 year olds).
